At Dappcon 2023 in Berlin, I presented how Hyper Oracle is enhancing smart contracts by integrating arbitrary compute and internet data, thus facilitating a range of new Oracle use cases within the DeFi ecosystem. I emphasized the shift from traditional staking-based Oracle models to a more robust, decentralized approach using zero knowledge proofs. This approach not only eliminates reliance on trusted third parties but also guarantees the accuracy of data with a cryptographic certainty, heightening DeFi security. I introduced the ZK Graph Studio, a tool that simplifies the creation of zkDapps without the need to understand the underlying complexity of zk proofs or circuit writing. Further, I highlighted the potential for zkOracles to revolutionize gas-heavy derivative programming and introduced a pioneering concept: a fully on-chain S&P 500 equivalent ETF that rebalances the top 50 ERC20 tokens every 1,000 blocks through ZK automation. Lastly, I touched upon how zk technology can enhance DeFi with machine learning by executing ML models and generating verifiable proofs of such executions, paving the way for advanced DeFi and ML integrations.
